Case Study: Compliance Training

CLIENT: Johnson & Johnson Medtech

SCOPE: The client was about to roll out a new copy approval process for the Medtech division. They needed to increase “buy-in” of various stakeholders and provide clarity of the process and its purpose.

SOLUTION: A decision had been made to use a theme around the concept of a band, wherein the various stakeholders come together to make the process work. A lighthearted tone, combined with specific, actionable guidance was the approach we took. The feedback for the finished product was incredibly positive.

TOOLS: Interactive e-Learning, Animation, Self-Assessments

Case Study: Agent and Service Rep Training

CLIENT: Farmers Insurance

SCOPE: Multiple engagements over three years to plan, design, and build various training programs for both external agents and internal service representatives.

SOLUTION: Our work consisted of a variety of objectives including training audiences on the basics of insurance coverages, sales processes and approaches, and software application usage. Whenever possible we incorporated real-world stories from associates to boost the relevance of the material.

TOOLS: Interactive e-Learning, Video, Software Simulations, Self-Assessments

Case Study: Cerner Transformation Program

CLIENT: Oracle Cerner

SCOPE: A mutli-year engagement centered around transforming how the company operated across management, engineering, and development.  The challenges were many, including how to modify attitudes and behaviors of 20,000 associates across the globe.

SOLUTION: Over the course of two years we worked with senior leadership to craft a multitude of learning programs including those aimed at introducing a new Scrum framework for product management and developers. In addition we developed facilitation materials for global training programs.

TOOLS: Instructor-Led Training, Interactive e-Learning, Videos, Simulations, Micro-learning

Case Study: Teammate+ Software Education

CLIENT: Wolters Kluwer

SCOPE: The client needed to provide more robust self-learning opportunities to customers of their online auditing management software platform. Users needed to have both an understanding of the process behind the use of the tool, and how to use the tool itself.

SOLUTION: We developed highly interactive software simulations within the platform itself, where users would be able to practice accomplishing various tasks. In addition we created introductory content to those simulations that explained the “when” and “why” behind accomplishing those tasks.

DEMO: BOT Learning Portal Sample

Here’s an excerpt of an interactive learning series examining World War I. This project combines video footage and dramatic audio with an interactive diagram of trench warfare. Objective is to create short, immersive learning modules that expose audience to both information and emotional aspects of the topic.

CLIENT TYPE: EDUCATION, SECTOR: NONPROFIT, TOOLS: AUDIO, VIDEO, INTERACTIVE

DEMO: Greenleaf Consumer Guide

Customer training and education is a major component of the work BOT does. In this example, we create an interactive guide for retirement account clients of a local bank. Upbeat audio and video combined with customer-specific information, make for a unique and useful tool to connect with the bank’s customers.

CLIENT TYPE: BUSINESS, AUDIENCE: CUSTOMERS, TOOLS: INTERACTIVE, AUDIO, VIDEO

BOT Learning Portal Sample

Here we have one example of how we can build, deploy, and manage content for your organization. In this sample we give you an overview of a number of the design elements and functionalities you can enjoy when using a Learning Portal. In addition to what you see here, we can design a number of other varieties.

CLIENT TYPE: ALL, AUDIENCE: ANY, TOOLS: LEARNING PORTAL

DEMO: The Big Interview

In this example we have built a scenario-based learning tool for prospective job applicants, to help make good choices during a job interview. Using a point system, we lead the audience through a series of scenarios that could directly affect their chances to get a job offer.

CLIENT TYPE: BUSINESS, AUDIENCE: EMPLOYEES, TOOLS: SCENARIO-BASED, ILLUSTRATIONS, INTERACTIVE

DEMO: Safari Game

Here’s an example of how BOT can create age and audience-specific educational content. In this work, we aim to build a child’s verbal and visual understanding with this fun matching game. Children must match the word that identifies the image, a common and crucial early learning objective.

CLIENT TYPE: EDUCATION, AUDIENCE: ELEMENTARY, TOOLS: ILLUSTRATIONS, AUDIO, INTERACTIVE

DEMO: Chemistry Virtual Series

Higher education is a major sector of online instructional design that BOT spends time with. In this excerpt of a 100-level Chemistry course, we use motion graphics to bring life to an introduction tof the molecular structure of water. This type of work is often used in conjunction with instructor led teaching.

CLIENT TYPE: EDUCATION, AUDIENCE: COLLEGE STUDENTS, TOOLS: MOTION GRAPHICS, ADULT LEARNING METHODS

DEMO: Rock Media Onboarding

Introducing new employees to the processes, policies, and personnel of their new workplace is often a time-consuming and disorganized endeavor. BOT can build a variety of tools such as this new employee onboarding course to help with that. Using scenarios, we help new employees understand the roles of others in the company and how work should flow.

CLIENT TYPE: BUSINESS, AUDIENCE: NEW EMPLOYEES, TOOLS: AUDIO, GRAPHICS, SCENARIOS, SELF-ASSESSMENT
